World Cup inspiring good goooaaallll! calls

From Maine to Washington, millions of Americans screamed themselves hoarse as Clint Dempsey briefly put the United States Men's National Team up over Portugal in the 81st minute of Sunday's World Cup match.

Fan or not, it was a thrilling moment, and one of the biggest goals in the team's tournament history.

Internationally, however, soccer announcers would have you believe every goal is that monumental.

Here's a roundup of some of the greatest announcers from around the globe, plus KIRO Radio Morning News hosts Dave Ross and Colleen O'Brien giving their best goal calls.

The United States next game is Thursday versus Germany.

All they need is a tie to advance, they then go to the 'knock out' round, where you either win or go home.
