Alert: The Tacoma Narrows bridge hasn't melted

Apple operating systems on iPhones and iPads are getting updates all over the world. The new iOS was available as early as Wednesday and touts special Siri features, Facebook integration, shared photos stream and all new Apple Designed Maps.
Instead of relying on Google for the maps feature, Apple has a system all its own. But, there have been a few problems with the new maps.
For your enjoyment, errors are documented here.
One of the errors, includes the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. The Washington State Department of Transportation just wanted everyone to know: The bridge is still standing.
"The image definitely caught me by surprise," said Jeremy Bertrand, WSDOT Web editor. "I couldn't believe what I was seeing, and I just had to ask others if they were seeing the same thing. And, sure enough, they were."
WSDOT encourages everyone to check multiple sources before they hit the road, to help you avoid closures due to construction, traffic incidents and accidents and so that you don't mistakenly think that a bridge has melted.
