Police say a man was shot and wounded early Monday in a drive-by shooting in north Seattle.

The man and his brother were walking across Aurora Ave N at N 80th Street around 2 a.m. when they got into a verbal argument with people in a car that stopped.

Police say the car continued then circled back and fired shots, hitting one of the brothers. He was taken to a hospital in serious condition.

Police say the other brother was severely intoxicated and could not provide a description of the suspects.
