Too many people vote

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Too many people vote. Isn’t that a horrible thing for me to say? But I feel that we’ve reached a point in America where it’s true.
Of course you have the right to do it. I’ll even fight for your right to do it. But I’m also honest enough to ask what is wrong with you if you don’t know what you’re talking about and still go ahead and vote? Do you know how selfish and evil that is? To head into a voting booth and make decisions that affect our entire country and you don’t know what the hell you’re talking about.
And this occurs so often.

The Cloward-Piven strategy in the 60s said that if you want to take down a capitalistic entity you flood its system. And Francis Fox Piven was the same person behind the Motor Voter act. Piven, a professor, wanted as many people as possible voting so she helped create the Motor Voter bill and Bill Clinton signed it into law.
Now, if you’re friends came to you and said, “Hey, I have a savings account with $50,000 in it. It’s everything I have in the world. How should I invest it?”
If you don’t know anything about investing, would you advise your friends about what to do with their money? Or would you say that you really weren’t qualified to give advice.
But when we do something as important as voting for a new leader, we have bought into the idea that we need as many people voting as possible. No one has the right to stop anyone from voting. But individuals have the responsibility to educate themselves on the topics at hand. And our society needs to encourage everyone to learn about the issues before they go out and cast their ballot.
