Seattle police investigate suspicious package

Seattle police investigated reports of a suspicious package at King Street Station Wednesday afternoon.

Officers quickly determined that the package was nothing.

Mayor Mike McGinn and Congressman Jim McDermott were attending a groundbreaking ceremony at the newly renovated train station during the reports.

Seattle police spokesperson Renee Witt says they kept people out of the area during the investigation.
