Wilson can only improve. Because that's the way he is motivated, and he possesses EVERY attribute necessary to become successful.

If Russell has a healthy career and the management continues to find gems amongst stones, the Seahawks will be a major force for years to come.

I like what Mortensen had to say about Pete Carroll. I always believed there's a lot more to Carroll than meets the eye, a lot more than just the "rah rah Pete", or a mindless, pie in the sky coach that many fans think he is. The man's been coaching football for 40 years so I think he probably knows a thing or two, that his qualifications might exceed the level of the average Monday morning quarterback. Is he perfect? No, but then again just based on personnel decisions alone he's had a hand in, he might just be the best thing that's happened to this franchise since the Nordstroms. And he's also savvy enough to know that regardless of the flaws a team has, even if they have a rookie QB at the helm, if they got a top 5 defense and running game, they have a chance to do some damage once the playoffs roll around. Rookie QBs are historically problematic in the playoffs but with the way the Pete Carroll Seahawks are built, I'm not much at all worried about Wilson being a rookie smf I wouldn't count them out of anything this year and it's only going to get better. Pete often takes risks with the Seahawk fanbase in the personnel decisions he makes, like sticking with Tjack last year or drafting Irvin in the first round this year but he doesn't care all that much because he believes in what he's doing. You gotta like that. It's unlikely you'll see him drafting someone like Tebow just to put fans in the seats, he'd rather put fans in the seats by putting a winner on the field.

It has become OBVIOUS to me that many of the negative-biased individuals who post in the comment section are blathering their emotional opinions, rather than conducting some research and then forming measured, logical conclusions.

He's the guy dudes. Geez what do you want his first born. And that on the road stuff is silly. Drops , no pass protection , penalties , it's not all him.
