how come no one is talking about our inconsistency when it comes to rushing the passer? We were horrible last game. Our secondary is rock solid. Our speed on the ends might be the best in the league. But our inability to get a pass rush up the middle could give RG3, even while injured, time to scramble around and make a play. Also, we do have another weakness as far as covering the slot man in the nickel. That is the reason why 3rd down has been a problem this year. Trufant or whoever the nickel corners are will need to step it up!!! Not to dawg on Trufant, but we seemed to do better on 3rd down when he wasn't playing a lot in the second half of the season. I know he has it in him to have a big game. He's done it in the playoffs before. So not to be the Debby-Downer, but don't be surprised if the Redskins attack our slot defenders, especially when we are in the nickel, and throw screens to their RB's when our D-ends crash, since they are better pass-rushers than our tackles.
