Catching up with former Seahawk Walter Jones
The question made Walter Jones chuckle.
I'd imagine you're no longer pushing around Cadillac Escalades to stay in shape, right?

Once upon a time, there was a reason.
Back when Jones was the most dominant left tackle in the NFL, he once missed three consecutive training camps due to contract holdouts, staying at home in Alabama while his agent and the Seahawks negotiated.
He needed a way to keep his lower body strong, and squats were too painful on his back.
He remembered how his high school football team would push around trucks for lower-body workouts because it didn't have conventional weights. That's how one of the most unique NFL workouts was born.
Jones, 38, is almost three years out of football, having retired following the 2009 season due to knee issues. He's still moving SUVs, though strictly from behind the wheel. Much of his time, he says, is spent driving around his son and daughter to their various sporting events.
"Just trying to do the things I couldn't do when I was playing," he said.
Jones' playing career and his life after football will be topics of discussion when he joins John Clayton for a one-on-one interview in front of a live audience next Tuesday. The one-hour event begins at noon at Morton's The Steakhouse in downtown Seattle.
