defensive line(DT,DE), wide receiver, will side linebacker and upgrade RT. Those first 3 should be addressed in the first four rounds.

#1.DT/DE Must upgrade pass rush,as much as we love Clem and for good reason he is 32 and will be coming off a serious knee injury. Irvin should improve but Bryant seems less effective pass rushing than before probably due to the planters fasciits foot problem. The Bears Henry Melton is the prize of the UFA DTs great run defender and inside pass rusher and fits our needs perfectly. In the draft Missouri's Sheldon Richardson DT/DE at 6'4" 295 is the same guy as Melton, Richardson is ranked between 10th and 15th on most big boards so it would perobably require trading up with Buffalo or the Jets. Which i think is the way we should go, as we can afford to package Flynn and extra picks for the guy we need. The Bengals UFA DE Micheal Johnson is a nice fit also. #2. WILB - Leroy Hill has just about burned his bridge's in Seattle so its probably time to replace him, even though he is still very affective. The Jags Daryl Smith is a WILB and is a similar player to Hill while Draft propect Khaseem Greene of Rutgers could be a nice fit in the 2nd round.

the closer we get to the draft i think the more i'm going to be certain that we're going DE... There's just no bigger need that i can see... your offense is coming along... maybe you get another O-lineman and of course search for a WR and a TE, but lets be honest, WR's now seem to be long term projects... not a whole lot of WR's are coming in as rookie's and tearing up the league. So yeh i say focus on that D-line, something has to change there we need more production from the front 4 and we definitely need to turn back the tide on the rushing yards we were giving up.

Alan Branch is just ok, from my perspective. You want to talk about how the Seahawks D was gashed at times versus the run? Go watch the game against Minnesota again. Watch Adrian Peterson stiff arm Alan Branch while in the backfield, on his way to the longest run from scrimmage against the Seahawks last season. If Branch doesn't come back I'll be ok with that. At times he's been a playmaker, but he's also gone through stretches of being next to invisible. Moving Red from the outside back to the interior wouldn't make much sense to me. He is one of the central cogs in Pete's defensive scheme. There should be great emphasis placed on finding the guy who'll eventually replace Red, who can also split time with him, keep him healthy, but there's no need to switch him back to DT. Bobby Wagner was also a culprit at times in terms of stopping the run, but he's a rookie that's still learning the ropes of th NFL game. He'll get better. The Seahawks run a lot of double eagle fronts, which is highly conducive to a tackling machine like Wagner. By design, that front provides a lot of opportunities for the mike and the will backer to just eat up the tackles, which brings me to my next point. Weakside LB is a must fill going into 2013. Malcom Smith has earned the right to potentially replace Hill, but they need to either draft or bring in a free agent capable of pushing Smith for that spot. Hill's lost it. It showed in his play this past year, and he too absorbs a chunk of the blame where effectively bottling the run was an issue. The writing's on the wall: there will be new blood at will backer.

You're dowing a guy for getting 'beast mode'd' from Adrian Peterson??? lol please believe All Day AP does that against EVERYBODY! lol duh! Branch isnt awful & for around the same salary I would understand if Branch is brought back.

Who did I down? I simply told it like it is. Branch got sonned by a man half his size, which is exhibit A of "Longest run from scrimmage against the Seahawks in 2012". That is unacceptable of any DT. You think his teammates and coaches gave him a pass in the meeting room on Monday when they were going over film? You think A.P. could do that to Mebane? Think he could do that to a DT like Suh. Look, the last Seahawks DT I saw get stiff-armed like that was when Jamaal Charles did it to Kentwan Balmer. And we all know what happened to Balmer the year afterwards, don't we? I never said Branch was awful, so please watch it with insinuations. Branch is a decent DT, but he is upgradeable. He plays a position on this team that is typically filled by guys who are better penetrators; guys who are actually more true to what you expect from a 3-technique DT.

Look guy this is the NFL and there are some very special players playing football right now, but to knock a professional for getting out done by maybe the most special running back of this decade is nothing more than stupid point blank. Learn to give some credit when its due buddy cause YOU got to witness one of the best offesive players of our time do some special things against a STOUT Seattle defense! Learn some respect for really amazing NFL players guy.
