Where Seahawks rookies can make instant impact
The Seahawks will have an opening at weakside linebacker assuming veteran starter Leroy Hill is not re-signed.
The other two starters from last season, Bobby Wagner and K.J. Wright, are entering their second and third seasons, respectively. Special teamer Heath Farwell is the only linebacker on Seattle's roster with more than two years of NFL experience.
"We don't have a lot of depth. We're very, very young at that position," coach Carroll told John Clayton from the scouting combine last weekend.
The Seahawks won't know who makes up their rookie class until the draft is completed, but Brock Huard thinks linebacker is one of three position groups in which a rookie will be able to make an impact for Seattle next season.
He discusses those three in the video below.
