Not even massive blood loss slows these hardcore Seahawks fans

When it comes to the Deadliest Catch, few are as dedicated to the task at hand as the crew of the F/V Time Bandit. Unless the Seattle Seahawks are playing, in which case not so much.
That was pretty evident in a recent episode of the show, when one of the crew members suffered a massive gash to his hand that required immediate emergency care.
It’s no laughing matter, but Mercer Island native Joel McHale got a good chuckle relaying what happened next on his clip show The Soup.
As Captain Andy Hillstrand races to a medical clinic ashore, you’d think all his concerns would be on his injured crew member.
But after urging others to get the medical kit and call ahead to warn of their arrival, he’s caught on the phone asking about the score of the Seahawks game.
“He needs to raise his hand above his heart,” Hillstrand relays to the others, just before he gets to the really important information: “touchdown Seattle,” he tells them.
It’s little comfort to the guy writhing in pain, but at least he can feel a little better knowing Russell Wilson has done it again. “Seattle’s going to win,” he says.
