Seahawks coach Pete Carroll confirmed Friday morning what seemed like a foregone conclusion: wide receiver Percy Harvin won't play Sunday against San Francisco.
"Percy's not going to make this one," Carroll told "The Morning News" on KIRO Radio 97.3 FM, "but we're hoping that maybe next week is his week, and we'll see how that goes."
Harvin sat out practice Wednesday and Thursday, an indication he wouldn't be available for Sunday's game. He missed Seattle's first 10 games, made his Seahawks debut in Week 11 and then was held out of Monday night's game because of continued discomfort in his surgically repaired hip.
