The Seahawks have signed offensive lineman Greg Van Roten to a futures contract, the team announed Friday.
Van Roten, who is listed as a guard, appeared in 12 games (including playoffs) over the last two seasons with the Packers. Green Bay signed him as an undrafted free agent out of Pennsylvania in 2012.
Van Roten was released by Green Bay on Tuesday. His agent told ESPN.com that the move was unrelated to the foot injury that ended his 2013 season in Week 5.
