Getting personal with the Seahawks' Russell Wilson

RENTON – Between a busy schedule that includes long hours at the Seahawks' facility, weekly visits with hospitalized children, commercial shoots and whatever other engagements, Russell Wilson does, in fact, find some time to sleep.

A little.

"I guess I get a little bit of sleep, not much," he said. "A few hours here and there, five to six usually."

Wilson's post-practice media session on Tuesday featured something rare: a glimpse – albeit a brief one – at what his life is like outside of football.

Seattle's quarterback was asked how many hours a day he doesn't think about football and what he does during that time.

"It's usually a good two-hour, three-hour period where I'm just relaxing," he said. "... I stay here from 5:30 (a.m) to about 8 (p.m.) usually and I usually get home around 8:30 or something like that. So for me, those two or three hours, I usually find a show or two to watch. During the season I watch "Scandal", "Orange is the New Black" I've seen, I've started that one. There's a few shows that I watch."

Wilson said he has two Great Danes, one of which is a recent addition.

"I just play with my dogs now," he said. "I got another dog so I kind of just relax in that way."
