Comments from Seahawks coach Pete Carroll during his weekly appearance on KIRO Radio 97.3 FM Friday morning pointed to another questionable designation and game-time decision for running back Marshawn Lynch, who has missed the better part of the last two games with a hamstring injury.
“He’s working at it. He got a little bit of work on Thursday at practice and got a chance to run around a little bit,” Carroll said. “He’s really close, but it’s a hamstring that’s been strained, so it takes a couple weeks for that to really be gone.”
Lynch was injured in Week 3 against Chicago, leaving that game for good in the first half. He didn’t practice last week leading up to Monday night’s game against Detroit, which he missed. Lynch sat Wednesday and was listed as limited in Thursday’s practice.
“The question is whether he’d be durable enough to play in a game and maintain,” Carroll said. “That’s what the trainers will figure out by game-time or before we take off.”
