Maybe Seahawks' QB competition already has a winner
Coach Pete Carroll gave a sarcastic response when asked when he hopes to have determined a winner in the Seahawks' quarterback competition.
"It would be good to have it by the opener," Carroll told "Bob and Groz" on Thursday.
Carroll, no longer kidding, then said he doesn't have a timetable for his decision on whether Matt Flynn, Tarvaris Jackson or Russell Wilson will be the Seahawks' starter.
"I don't know that, and so we're just going to let it emerge and give these guys lots of turns and then we'll talk about it and do what we have got to do," Carroll said. "... We'll just take our time with it and be very patient and I think it will show itself."
In the video below, Bob Stelton and Dave Grosby wonder whether Carroll already knows the outcome.
