What's next for the Seahawks and Marshawn Lynch?
Marshawn Lynch is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 14 due to his arrest over the weekend for investigation of DUI, by which point any decision on charges will have been made.
A charge could lead to a suspension from the NFL, possibly a hefty one given Lynch's previous run-ins with the law during his time in Buffalo.
Herm Edwards says that if he were the Seahawks' coach he wouldn't wait for the legal system to play out before deciding to discipline his star running back.
"I'd call the commissioner and say, 'Hey, I know you have to wait for the [legal] process. I don't need the process. I've got enough information,'" Edwards, a former NFL coach and current ESPN analyst, told "Brock and Salk" on Tuesday, a day after Lynch's arrest was first reported.
"When we start playing real football games, that guy's going to stand by me [on the sideline]. He's standing by me -- he's not going to play ... because I'm going to make sure I send a message to this football team that this will not be tolerated here."
