Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson is getting even more attention thanks to a new commercial for Levi's.
The spot is the latest in the "Go Forth" series. It debuted Tuesday on YouTube. In the ad, Wilson is shown driving around Seattle and visiting some of the city's iconic destinations including Pike Place Market. He's also shown working out in the gym and on the field at the Seahawks' headquarters.
In the voice-over narration from Wilson, the rookie credits his father with his success.
He shares the story of going home to tell his father he had been drafted to play professional baseball, only to have him die that evening.
"My dad used to always tell me there's a difference between talent and skill. God gives you talent but you perfect your skill," says Wilson as he's shown throwing a football.
"You have to trust in what you believe, you have to trust in who you are. My dad used to always tell me there's a king in every crowd," Wilson says.
The spot ends with the quarterback standing on a dock on the Seattle waterfront in Levis jeans and a denim shirt.
