Five teen girls injured in rollover crash near Puyallup

The Washington State Patrol says seat belts saved five teen girls from serious injuries when their car hit a pole and some trees and landed on its roof.

According to KING 5, the accident happened on Police say Hwy 167 near Puyallup at about 3:15 a.m. on Thursday.

The girls, ages 15 to 17, were treated for minor injuries.

The girls told troopers another car swerved at them causing the accident.

The driver was arrested for investigation of vehicle assault. Troopers believe she may have been drinking.
