Pregnant burglar in North Bend strikes twice in one week

Mar 19, 2013, 5:39 AM | Updated: 5:55 am

The King County Sheriff's Office is releasing surveillance footage with the hopes that someone might recognize the young woman believed to have burglarized two North Bend homes within the last week. She is described as white, in her 20's, with long dark hair.

There’s something very conspicuous about a burglar believed to have hit two North Bend homes in the last week.

The young woman caught on surveillance video is obviously pregnant.

The King County Sheriff’s Office says the dark haired woman wearing a sweatshirt, yoga pants and flip flops is seen on home video knocking on the door of a home in the 43800 block of SE 168th St in North Bend on Wednesday, March 13. When no one answers, she is seen breaking in through a front window.

An accomplice can be seen on the video moving the car while the pregnant woman is inside. That same red convertible was also seen outside another home in North Bend that was burglarized just a day earlier.

If you recognize the suspect or the vehicle, you are asked to call the King County Sheriff’s Office at 206.296.3311.
