A suspect was taken into custody after a standoff Sunday in Kent.
The standoff occurred at the Mosaic Hills Apartments. Police said the 34-year-old man threatened his girlfriend with a knife.
When officers made contact with the man, he was aggressive and verbally threatened them. He was taken down with beanbag rounds.
“We’re very happy that this morning’s arrest came without injury to the suspect or surrounding residents,” Kent police commander Jarod Kasner said in a release.
