6-year-old girl in stable condition after falling out of moving vehicle

UPDATE: The 6-year-old girl is now in stable condition.

ORIGINAL STORY: Lynnwood police are investigating a single vehicle accident involving a six-year-old female who fell out of a moving vehicle.

Police said the incident occurred on 64th Avenue West, just north of 200th Street SW, at about 1:26 p.m. Sunday. The preliminary information is a six-year-old female passenger fell out of a vehicle as it was making a turn from a parking lot. The passenger was struck by the vehicle she fell from and was rushed by responding emergency medical personnel to Harborview Medical Center with undetermined injuries. Police said driver was cooperating.

Police completed the on-scene portion of the accident investigation after 4 p.m. and reopened traffic.
