Family of ducks block I-5 traffic through Tacoma

The Monday morning commute came to a crawl for northbound I-5 drivers heading through Tacoma as state patrol herded a family of ducks off the roadway.

The duck crossing caused a five-mile backup and 10-12 minutes of delays, KIRO Radio’s Chris Sullivan reports.

The ducks were cleared around 8 a.m.
