Actress/comedian/performer Jane Lynch describes the route to worldwide fame as a series of “happy accidents.” And the fact that she’s always willing to try.
“I never say no,” Lynch told KIRO Radio’s Dori Monson. “I say yes to everything.”
Lynch’s Hollywood career spans nearly 30 years and includes guest spots on some of the 90s’ most recognizable sitcoms: “Married with Children,” “Party of Five,” “The John Larroquette Show,” “NewsRadio,” “3rd Rock from the Sun” and “Caroline in the City.” Even “Frasier.”

The “Glee” star returns to Seattle – in real life this time – June 3rd and 4th to perform her cabaret show “See Jane Sing” at The Triple Door downtown. She told KIRO Radio’s Dori Monson that while she enjoys the recognition that came with her breakout role in the show “Glee,” she cherishes being able to perform in small, cabaret spaces like The Triple Door.
“We’re looking forward to that,” she said. “In fact, I would say it’s probably going to be the highlight of this MONSTER tour.”
Seattle is the second stop on the tour that includes shows in 29 days. Kate Flannery – best known for playing Meredith, the drunk from “The Office” – joins Lynch in the show that she says covers the American songbook.
“From Irving Berlin to Nicki Minaj to a medley of songs that made us cry as kids,” she said.
