(Seattle Fire Department)
The Seattle Fire Department had to aim high to rescue two window washers from a downtown Seattle high-rise Tuesday afternoon.
Two window washers became stuck 23-floors high on the side of the Century Link building in downtown Seattle when their equipment stopped working. Fire department crew members helped both the window washers rappel down the side of the building in the 1600 block of 7th Avenue. Both men were on the ground by 2:45 p.m., after one firefighter climbed down to their platform, helped them rappel to the ground and rappelled down after them.
