Video: Renton Red Lion shooters fire and flee on camera

Jun 1, 2016, 3:47 PM | Updated: 3:48 pm

The Renton Police Department is seeking public assistant identifying four suspects from a hotel shooting last month.

The shooting occurred outside the Red Lion, on South Grady Way, on May 28. Detectives have released security camera recordings from the hotel that show some suspects fleeing and shooting behind them.

Police seek assistance identifying:

• The shooter wearing a black coat, white pants and white hoody
• The shooter wearing a white sweatshirt and dark pants
• The shooter who falls to the ground wearing dark clothing and white tennis shoes

There is a fourth shooting suspect that can’t be seen on the video.

Two victims were shot during the incident — a 22-year-old Renton man and an 18-year-old Des Moines man. Both were treated for non-life threatening injuries. More than two-dozen rounds were fired during the shooting, causing damage to the hotel and cars in the nearby parking lot.

Renton police note that despite crowds of people in the area during the shooting, no one has offered descriptions of the suspects or any information on what led up to the incident.

Anyone with leads for detectives can contact Renton Detective Edwards or Commander Leibman at 425-430-7500.

The video featured here has been edited from two longer videos.
