Kent man charged with shooting at imaginary intruders

A Kent man will face charges for firing his gun inside an apartment complex at imaginary intruders.

Anthony Seraile Sr., 55, allegedly fired at least three shots from his hunting rifle inside his unit at the Sterling Ridge Apartments on Dec. 12. One of the shots shattered a sliding glass door, narrowly missing two people.

The Seattle PI reports Seraile was firing at imaginary people he thought were breaking into his apartment.

Seraile suffers from delusions, side effects from surgery on a brain tumor two years ago. He also admitted to using cocaine the night of the shooting.

He is now facing charges of second degree assault.
