A Sedro-Woolley man is in jail after threatening to shoot up every school within a hundred miles just hours after the Newtown, Connecticut, massacre.
The 19-year-old man thanked Connecticut shooter Adam Lanza in a Facebook post Friday night, and then he wrote that if gun laws are changed because of the massacre he would get his sawed-off shotgun and shoot up every school within 100 miles of Sedro-Woolley.
Q-13 reports the man turned himself in to police Sunday morning. He told detectives he is an internet troll that likes to post provocative statements to get a rise out of readers.
It’s not known if the man has any weapons. He is facing a court hearing Monday for felony harassment.
