Comedian Katt Williams was kicked out of his Seattle hotel Monday night, and he claims he’s going to sue the city and quit stand-up.
Williams was kicked out of the South Lake Union Marriott because the smell of marijuana and incense coming from his room was bothering other guests.
KOMO TV caught up with him on the street where he claimed he’s going to sue Seattle for $50 million for ruining his reputation as a father and a black man.
Williams claims the police had it in for him during his entire stay in the area, and he said he’s done with stand-up.
“I’m just gonna go ahead and announce my retirement from stand-up,” he told KOMO-TV. “I’m kinda done.”
Williams was arrested Sunday after getting into it with patrons at the World Sports Grille. He’s looking at potential assault, harassment and obstruction charges.
And he’s likely going to be sued by Carlos Castro, who claims Williams attacked him during his Friday show for videotaping his act.
“I was in the third row,” Castro told KIRO Radio’s Dori Monson. “He came down past the third row to the fourth row, exactly behind where I was, and smacked me in the head with a microphone.” Castro claims he suffered a concussion.
We also heard Williams’ posse, including record label owner Suge Knight, went looking for Castro after the attack to try and pay him off to keep quiet.
Williams’ weekend also included a trip to Federal Way where he reportedly ripped off hundred-dollar bills at the Farmer’s Market and several hotels.
Williams has a Thursday court date in King County.
