Police looking for woman accused of running down two teenagers with car

Nov 29, 2012, 6:18 AM | Updated: 8:03 am

Seattle police are looking for a 37-year-old woman, who’s accused of plowing her car into two teenage girls after an argument about her pit bull.

The incident reportedly began with a fistfight over the animal.

“The female suspect got into a physical fistfight with one of the victims because the victim had struck the suspect’s dog,” says Seattle Police Detective Renee Witt.

After the fistfight, the suspect reportedly left the area and returned to chase the victim with a Taser.

“The victim ran away and actually was returning to school with victim number two. The suspect reappeared in her vehicle and she accelerated and hit both victims with her car,” says Witt.

The suspect driving a block Honda then fled the area and remains at large. The woman claimed in a 911 call that she would turn herself in to police Wednesday afternoon, but never showed up.

The female victims, 17 and 18-years-old, sustained minor injuries and were transported to Harborview Medical Center for treatment.

Police ask anyone with information about the suspect’s whereabouts to call 911.
