The Democrat Plan for Race-Based Victory

For conservatives, Barack Obama's presidency represents such an obvious failure that they can't understand why the contest is even close. Among the 75 percent of the electorate classified as "non-Hispanic white" it isn't close, in fact, with 60 percent support or more for Mitt Romney.

The problem is that in the quarter of the voting public that's non-white, Obama prevails with a crushing 80 percent. This situation explains the shameful Democratic emphasis on racial issues and charges of GOP bigotry: if they can push Obama's support among blacks, Latinos and Asians close to 90 percent, they can win despite emphatic rejection by America's white majority.

That's why the top future political priority for the GOP must be building a more substantial base in the nation's non-white communities, to overcome knee-jerk support that gives Democrats such a powerful advantage.

    ...is the number of people who vote against their own morals simply because one side has effectively found ways to demonize the other.

    Case in point: the vast majority of Hispanics hold conservative values of family, faith, and enterprise. Yet they overwhelmingly voted against those values in this election.

    Until the republican party can control the message with Hispanics, they will continue to overwhelmingly lose that vote.

They don't believe the government should impose them on everybody. 67% of Hispanics are pro choice according to the exit polls. And Three out of 10 Latino adults say they consider themselves liberal compared to 21 percent of the general U.S. public, the Pew Hispanic Center’s 2011 National Survey of Latinos poll found. And more native-born Hispanics than immigrant Hispanics say they are “very liberal” or “liberal,” 34 percent to 27 percent.
