The "estrogen advantage" is no cure for gridlock

With more women elected to the Senate and House, giddy commentators have begun suggesting that more feminine perspectives could cure Washington gridlock.

As Senator Dianne Feinstein of California argued, the new women Senators aren't driven by "testosterone" and "ego" and so can work more cooperatively with their colleagues.

But when in history have women leaders proven so easy-going and collaborative?

Margaret Thatcher and Golda Meir were fierce and formidable, noted for imposing their will on others, not compromise and cooperation. Closer to home, Nancy Pelosi spent four years as House speaker, but never reached successfully across the aisle: she didn't get a single GOP vote for Obamacare or the Stimulus package.

In the end, voting for a woman because she's female is just as ridiculous as voting for a man because he's male.

    No kidding? So did I.
She thought her breast implants gave her enough aptitude to run a mortgage company, and found out that nice knockers only work while climbing a ladder. She bought every word that W spewed and fired her employees based on their political preferences. The company faltered and failed and cost many google eyed investors a great deal of capitol, just like her little hero. She called talk shows and complained about liberals. I hope her back hurts.

I have heard 1 billion times how superior women are, how the world wou,ld be flawless, no poor, everyone singing and holding hands, however in business I have witnessed sisterhood
going down in flames when it's women vs women competition. I find women bond when they compete against the evil male, but when men are out of the picture I don't see singing and hand holding at all. Plus women dont think all the same-DUH!! Many women are conservative, many women are against abortion. Yet another media, liberal created myth!

    Women are more brutal

I have worked for quite a few women, approximately 6 while I worked for the man in corporate america, only 2 that I can say that I actually respected and the executive board respected, it's not so much that they are bad to work for, I personally think that they let there personal feeling get in the way of good business.

They will hold stuff against you for a long time, they will overlook you no matter how much money you make them, they would prefer to have some one to work with that is more agreeable and non-combative so to speak, then someone who will challenge them and make them more successfull, I guess tell them what they need to hear than what they want to hear.

I can have a heated debate with a male boss and we can go have a beer after work, with the female, she's is going to have a microscope up my asszz, roll her eyes at me and not talk to me for months on end and they are even worse with each other, they will hate on each other just by how the other one look and/or if you don't fit there image, you can forget it as a women not fitting into her little click.

Now if you get on there good side, it's heaven reincarnated and you have an ally for the rest of your life, I still have a high level boss trying to get me to come back and work for here in management.

sportsG-I have witnessed not with me but to men who dont "suck up" to women in the office, a united effort by these women to make the guys life at work as bas as possible.
This is why I am very guarded with women in the work place, very carefull what to say and not to offend. I keep a distance but am not aloof. Frankly, men who dont know this dynamic are fools. A women can make a ton of money on a harmless flitation and I have seen women do this. Boeing and other companies will not have a male manager and a women alone in a office without getting a third person to witness. I get along fine with women in the workplace but I always know they can screw me in a second if I falter or let my guard down. Personaly, for working groups that have to spend a lot of time together on difficult projects, an all male group is better because nobody needs to be on guard and the group is more loose. I speak from over 30 years experience in working in groups so the feminist can hollar all they want. Women plus laywers equals money, often big money.
