Marshawn Lynch is returning to Seattle to play softball with Richard Sherman.

The retired Seahawks running back will play in Sherman’s fourth annual celebrity softball game July 10 at Safeco Field.

Lynch’s name was added to a growing lineup of atheletes and celebrities on Richard Sherman’s website.

More than 20,000 fans attended the game in Seattle last year. A portion of the proceeds go to Richard Sherman’s Blanket Coverage Family Foundation, plus other local charities.
Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times points out that the softball game will be Lynch’s first public appearance in Seattle since he was placed on the reserve/retired list in May.
