The search continues for missing Redmond boy Sky Metalwala. The boy, then 2-years-old, was reported missing last November.

Sky’s father, Solomon Metalwala and his attorney issued a new plea for help Wednesday, urging the child’s mother, her friends and family to come forward and share any information they have about the case.

Attorney Clay Terry said investigators continue working the case, but are keeping quiet as the probe continues.

Terry said Sky’s mother Julia Biryukova, family and friends have refused to reveal any possible information about the child’s whereabouts or help with the search for the boy.

“In every effort we’ve made they are conspicuously absent,” he said. “And we don’t know why, and we’re asking that they come forward and tell us what they know.”

Terry asked for anyone who might have seen Sky between June of 2011 and Nov. 6, 2011 to come forward.

Sky was last reported seen Sunday, Nov. 6, by his mother, who said her car ran out of gas in Bellevue. But police investigators tested her car and said they found gas in the tank and could find nothing wrong with it.

Solomon Metalwala hadn’t seen Sky since December of 2010 due to an ongoing custody battle with Julia.

Police have not named Biryukova a suspect. She has refused to be be interviewed by police or take a polygraph test.

“It was really interesting we could not receive any help from her own brother, he wouldn’t help us. The mother wouldn’t help us and the two friends wouldn’t help us when everyone else that we know in the community and dozens of people we did not know in the community came forward to help us,” Terry said.
