The stepmother of a missing Portland boy has been called the prime suspect in his disappearance.

The judge presiding over a civil lawsuit filed against Terri Horman, missing Kyron’s stepmother, is now calling her ‘the prime suspect,’ according to Northwest Cable News. She has never been named a suspect in the criminal case.

Kyron went missing on June 4, 2010 when he was 7-years-old. His stepmother, Terri Horman, was the last known person to see Kyron.

The civil lawsuit, filed by Kyron’s mother, Desiree Young, accuses Horman of kidnapping the boy either by herself or with help.

Last week, a judge denied the motion by Kyron’s stepmother Terri Horman to delay the civil lawsuit. The judge has now laid out rules for attorneys to gather evidence.
