TBTL WITH LUKE BURBANK

The Cure For Today’s Economic Panic

Remember that one time, when you like worked really hard and saved your money? So you could buy your grandma that kidney surgery that she’d need some day? What a jerk. You should have followed my advice and spent it on smokes and lotto tickets. So anyway, before you head down to the bread line today, I highly recommend you load ‘Dusk to Dawn’, the new single from Ladyhawke, into your iPod.

I’m thinking it would be fun to do something like this with the TBTL 10’s. We pick a song, and then all of you tape yourselves dancing around to it (or doing whatever) and then we put it together. Wouldn’t that be fun? Let’s meet under the bridge (near the barrel fire) to discuss.

Homelessly Devoted To You,

— Luke Burbank

New York Times columnist David Carr died on Thursday night. The guys did a great job eulogizing him and there's little praise I could add.

On the morning of January 23rd, 2006 my phone rang while I was eating breakfast. I had a sore throat so my "hello" was weak and hoarse.
