Presidential nominee Hillary Clinton will ‘end on a low note’

It usually makes sense for the Democratic presidential nominee to be the final speaker during a political convention, but not this time around, according to KIRO Radio’s Dori Monson and Jason Rantz.
The problem Hillary Clinton has is she will follow headliners that have already impacted the party’s efforts with their speeches, more so than Monson and Rantz believe Clinton can. That includes Michelle Obama’s speech, which took shots at Donald Trump and as one media outlet reported, “electrified the crowd at the Wells Fargo Arena in Philadelphia.”
And there are more speakers to come before Clinton takes the stage, including President Obama.
“Showbiz does matter,” Dori explained.
Showbiz is not something Hillary Clinton is known for. Instead, Dori says she comes off as somewhat “robotic.”
“[The Democratic National Convention] will end on a low note because this is not her strength,” Dori continued.
Whether or not Clinton gets a bump in the polls from her appearance and official acceptance of the presidential nomination won’t be known until Thursday.
