Is it real or is it Ichiro?
By Shannon Drayer
You may or may not have seen this but I wanted to share. Ichiro as you know is a huge pitch man, and not of the baseball variety, in Japan. A couple of his latest commercials for the supplement Yunker Sato have gone viral and beg the question, is it real or is it Ichiro and if so, how many takes did it take to get these two shots?
I am fairly sure they are real. I remember when he did a similar commercial for the Mariners in 2007 ("Just a bit outside") the director told me it only took a couple of takes.
Best part of the new spots? The "Felixing" at the end of the first one. Gotta love international "Felixing."
