Diving student in critical condition after being pulled from water near Seacrest Park

SEATTLE – A water rescue was underway Sunday afternoon near Seattle’s Seacrest Park for a missing diving student.
The diver, a woman in her 20s, was located and pulled from the water at about 1 p.m.
Seattle fire officials say the diver has been transported to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition.
The rescue was in the area of the 1600 block of Harbor Avenue SW, according to Seattle fire officials.
Seattle police assisted in the search. Traffic may be impacted.
