Expect delays around Everett starting around noon on Tuesday for Donald Trump’s visit.
Roads surrounding the Xfinity Area will be shut down. That includes Hewitt, Lombard, Broadway, Oaks and Wall Streets in downtown Everett. Everett Police will help direct traffic.

The City of Everett has made it clear that federal code prohibits demonstrators on the sidewalk outside the arena during the event. Designated demonstration areas will be clearly marked, however.
Everett police and fire departments are working closely with Xfinity Arena officials and event organizers to manage the crowds and traffic. More than 9,000 people are expected to attend the event. Law enforcement personnel from other area agencies will also be in Everett to assist with traffic control and security.
“Our priority is the safety of everyone who will be participating in tomorrow’s events,” said Aaron Snell with the Everett Police Department. “There will be additional security checks at the arena, so we encourage people to travel light, leave bags and backpacks at home and be prepared for long lines.”
