Man stabbed, left for dead on downtown Seattle street

A man was stabbed and left for dead in the middle of the street in downtown Seattle early Wednesday.
Seattle fire was called to the scene at Fourth Avenue and James Street at 3:40 a.m. by a KIRO 7 photographer who happened to be driving by and saw the man lying in the street.
He pulled over and saw the man bleeding from the neck. He rushed over to help and called police.
The victim told officers he had been stabbed and knew who did it.
The victim’s condition was not immediately known.
