If you haven’t seen it yet, the latest Star Wars trailer was released Monday night.
While the movie won’t be released until Dec. 18, enough fans bought tickets on Oct. 19 to crash multiple websites, according to CNN Money. Both Fandango and MovieTickets.com briefly went down. Similar issues were reported in the U.K. when tickets went on sale.
KIRO Radio’s Tom Tangney said he’ll see “The Force Awakens” because he needs to, but he’s not a rabid fan.
“There’s a lot of excitement, but for me, I’m waiting for proof that this is a nine-movie story worth telling,” he said.
Meanwhile, KIRO Radio co-host John Curley will continue to boycott the series for no other reason that he and his brother agreed, in 1977, not to see it one morning over Cheerios.
