Chris Polk says he's as good as any other RB in draft
Not that Chris Polk would qualify as an unbiased source on the matter, but the former Husky thinks he stacks up pretty well with the other tailbacks who are projected to be taken in the first few rounds of April's NFL draft.
Polk, who joined "The Kevin Calabro Show" from Senior Bowl practices in Mobile, Ala. on Thursday, said it's not necessarily his talent that makes him feel that way.

"You can be the strongest and fastest guy in the world, but there's no lift, there's no exercise you can do, you can't coach someone (to refuse) to go down, (to love) to get hit."
Thanks to his bruising, relentless running style, Polk recently finished his career at Washington 57 yards shy of the school's all-time rushing record. He now has his sights set on the NFL draft. ESPN draft guru Mel Kiper Jr. said last week that he thinks Polk will be taken before the third round.
Kiper ranks Polk as the No. 5 running back in this year's class, one spot behind Oregon's LaMichael James. Trent Richardson of Alabama is No. 1, according to Kiper.
"I feel like I measure up with him (Richardson) because -- not to take anything away from him, he's a great athlete, a phenomenal athlete and I really respect his game, but I just feel like I have more heart than him," Polk said. "If you put him in situations that I'm in, I don't think he's doing the stuff I'm doing. But he's also a great player. I'm not taking anything from him. I just feel like I'm the overall better player."
Polk also talked about the growth the program has made since the 2008 team went 0-12 and praised his teammates for helping put him in position to get drafted.
"Without my teammates blocking for me, without the receivers blocking for me, without the defense getting me on the field, without my coaches believing in me ... I'm not even on this list, I'm not even having this interview right now, I'm not even at the Senior Bowl," he said. "So my whole college success, I attribute to them."
