A man was heading to see his wife and newborn baby at a hospital when a road-rage incident resulted in his death near the Stone Brook neighborhood in Federal Way.
“Federal Way police are saying a 32-year-old man found dead in his car on Hoyt Road SW in Federal Way was a victim of possible Road Rage,” said Rob Munoz, with KIRO 7.

The man, identified as Dennis Sloboda, drove to his family’s house and told his brother and others that a man dressed in white was stalking him after an incident on the road. Sloboda reportedly waited at the home for more than an hour before leaving to see his wife and his baby, who was born just last week. That was the last time family members saw him.
It is unknown exactly what the incident entailed, but it was said that road rage was involved.
“Family said that Dennis Sloboda had come home last night worried about an incident he just got into with a man on the road and that man was stalking him outside his house,” Munoz said. “Family members said that when Loboda took off, they noticed the man was outside his home waiting for him — possibly for up to an hour. That man was wearing all white, and they believe it’s the same man who shot and killed him at an intersection not too long after.
“He stopped by the family house to get away from the gunman; he left to pick up a suit to start a new job,” he said, noting that the job was to support his growing family with extra money.
Family members believe the unknown man in white waited for Sloboda.
“The brother told us he had seen that person outside,” Munoz said. “He saw him earlier when the brother came home in a panic saying this man dressed in all white. When he looked outside, he saw that man dressed in all white was making hand gestures – not sure what they meant.”
A GoFundMe account has been set up to raise money for Sloboda’s family.
