Former Washington Husky Terrence Ross has been selected to participate in this year's Sprite Slam Dunk Contest during NBA All-Star Weekend in Houston.
Ross has quickly become known as one of the league's top dunkers in his first season. Fans have been using the hashtag #LetRossDunk on Twitter for the past couple months to help make the case for the Raptors' rookie guard.
The competition Ross will be up against includes Pacers forward Gerald Green, Knicks forward James White, Clippers guard Eric Bledsoe, Jazz forward Jeremy Evans, and Nuggets forward Kenneth Faried. The contest will take place Feb. 16 on TNT.
Ross is averaging 6.8 points and 2.2 rebounds in 17.5 minutes per game for Toronto.
