Former Washington football coach Don James will begin chemotherapy next week to treat a malignant tumor on his pancreas, the school said Wednesday.
James, 80, is resting and recovering at his home following a pair of surgeries earlier this month.
James, a member of the College Football Hall of Fame, coached Washington from 1975-1992. The Huskies won four Rose Bowls and a share of the 1991 national championship during that span.
