He was fun to watch these last two years. At least he stayed for two years instead of 1 yr like that Hawes kid who came from MONEY, this kid's family is probably bearly getting by unlike Hawes family, If he gets drafted, his family will be taken care, and that's a good thing! I'm from Portland & went to the same high school that he came from. It's considered the Garfield of Portland. That Jones kid from Kentucky also was on that Portland team that won the 4A Championship their senior year. It's hard growing up in Portland, let alone Oregon. I wish the kid all the sucess in the world. He left there & came here to play for the UW & Lorenzo. That alone speaks for it's self.

What in the REAL WORLD does this kid has to prove to you? You sound like he owe's you something just because he's leaving college early.I don't want to bust your bubble dude but that's what's happening everywhere these days.Only a FOOL would pass up a chance to become MILLIONIRE at such a young age!IMO he's doing the common sense thing. First of all, I never said, as you foolishly asserted, that Ross owes ME anything. For the record, he owes me NOTHING. Is that clear enough?

I stated very clearly that "He has something to prove here, Unfortunately, he will never be able to prove it....."

Much like Chris Webber did in Michigan, Ross jumped ship when things didn't turn out how he imagined. He is a decent player, no doubt. But he has the patience of a 2 year old.

Had he stayed here for another year or 2 he MAY have proved that he is worthy of wearing a Husky jersey and being labelled as one of their greats. But we will never know, will we? Thus far he has proved nothing.

His stats improved from his freshman year. But the true test is the 3rd and or 4th year.

Unfortunately, we will never know if he were the real deal, since he quit when things got too tough to handle.

I loved watching Ross play, but am disappointed in his unproven status as a Husky.

Clearly if he is a first round draft pick in the NBA draft he is the real deal. If you really want to see how good he is wait til the fall when his skills will be tested against the best basketball players in the world. You state "he quit when things got too tough to handle" again why is taking his talent to then next level considered quitting? He would be a fool to turn down the opportunity to make a lot of money, support his family, and play a game he loves as an occupation. If someone was a physics team player and after their sophomore year of college was approached by NASA and asked to come work there we wouldn't say they are quitters. After all the whole point of going to college is to help get into your desired field and start a career. Congratulations Terrence Ross I wish you the best of luck in the NBA.
