Marc Jacobs offers award for missing spring collection
One of my favorite designers, Marc Jacobs, has offered a reward to anyone with information about his missing spring 2012 collection.
The collection, which comprised of duplicates from the original samples in New York, went missing around 8 a.m. on Wednesday morning. The collection, which included shoes, handbags, and apparel, are worth $65,000. The brand offered a reward via tweet for anyone who has seen "any chic truck drivers cruising around Europe dressed in #SS12 collection."
No word on how much (or what) the designer is offering for photographic evidence of the missing spring collection.
Thankfully, the stolen collection can be replicated as the original samples haven't been compromised. Phew!
