Stocking up for fall
I know, I know, it's pretty crazy...fall is just around the corner. Summer has been flying by so quickly it's hard to imagine that Seafair is coming up this weekend. And after Seafair, well, it's just a countdown to Labor Day - and before you know it, the leaves start turning hues of orange and yellow...
Okay, I'll stop. But the one great thing about summer coming to a close are all the gorgeous fall pieces hitting store shelves. I went to Portland a couple weekends ago and went shopping at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale (which, by the way, ends very soon - go now!) and scored some great deals (with no tax, thankyouverymuch) on Hudson skinny jeans, scarves, beautiful boots, and a few sweaters. And I can't forget my glossy new Michael Kors wallet!
And you really know you're ready for summer fashion to end when you start drooling over sweaters, jackets, and boots. Here's some fall inspiration to get you excited:

And if you want to get your hands on some fall goodies, definitely check out the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale (http://shop.nordstrom.com/). Tip: Frye boots are on sale! Les Amis in Fremont (http://lesamis-inc.com) just got in some yummy cashmere sweaters that are super snuggle-worthy (plus they're having a huge summer sale going on right now with some items going for 50% off), and Canopy Blue in Madison Park (http://www.canopyblue.com) has some beautiful new arrivals as well as a sale going on (gotta love sales!).
