Saturday Night Live will have a field day with Debate No. 2

I thought Hillary Clinton came off during Sunday’s debate as dignified and classy. She didn’t stoop down into the muck; she actually spoke about the issues. Meanwhile, in a reverse of what happened in the first debate when Donald Trump looked poised early on and fell off the deep end, he looked hellacious in the first 20 minutes on Sunday and then slightly recovered.
But the best part: Saturday Night Live parody of the debate should be great.
There was a lot of movement on that debate stage. Hillary Clinton consistently walked almost uncomfortably close to the question askers, while Trump lurked in the background or milled around her in camera shot.
Sometimes Trump was dead set in the camera shot; other times it seemed to hit him mid-chest. And those facial reactions: Wow!
Ok guys this is really the best picture of the entire election.

One other moment, which, unfortunately, I couldn’t find online: Trump stood behind his chair and it looked like he’d hooked his thumb into his belt, in that typical man-ish pose. You know, the one that women adopt when trying to portray men in an exaggerated way. I wonder if he was doing that consciously or unconsciously.
The whole thing felt like theater blocking, with no director. I can’t wait to see how Alec Baldwin plays it.
